Lunch after workout
Great job getting your workout done! Next time you have a midday workout, grab a banana and almonds, or Greek yogurt with berries, before you exercise. After, try one of these:
- 3–6 oz of chicken, salmon or lean meat on a bed of spinach or mixed greens with beets, apples, carrots, and crumbled cheese or avocado. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic.
- Bean chili or soup topped with avocado or low-fat cheese and a side spinach or kale salad drizzled with oil.
